what is the best oil?
the best oil would be a full synthetic (max life, valvoline, mobile 1)
but it doesnt really matter what brand you go with, a synthetic is a synthetic. only real difference is the additives in each one.
its like choosing between burger king and mcdonalds... they both sell cheeseburgers that are marinated in grease (which is what makes them good), but its just a matter of personal preference of brands/companys
but if your talking about oil weights, like... 5w30, 10w30, 5w20 etc... that just depends on the seaons your driving in.

Burger King flame broils. And they have the king, would you really want to mess with him?

It does matter.
There is some test where they heat the oil to see how much of it evaporates. I forget the name of the test but Castrol Syntec beat most everyone else.
IMHO, I read alot about AmsOil.
That is probably the best.
Check it out.

Precisely. I'm amazed at how so many people still do not know about bob's forum.
For synthetic my vote would be for GC (German Castrol) 0W-30. Havoline 10W-30 for conventional.
