F20B & F20C... Differences?
Okay, I know the subject line looks stupid but basicly, I just blew my H22 on my Prelude and I'm looking to get an F20B because it's cheaper, revs higher, and is better for boosting. What I need to know is what are the differences?
Do they use the same clutch? Valves? Cams? Things like that. I plan to mod my engine extensively but I don't want to have to get JDM everything.
Can I use the Exedy stage 2 clutch for the S2000? Skunk2 Valves for the S2000?
Thanks for reading.

get another H22.
The differences between the F20B and F20C are too numerous to list.
There is not the aftermarket following or tunability that you are looking for.
Not to mention locating the custom bellhousing and K series trans to make the F20C fit in your car.

Uhhh, how about the tranny that doesn't exist?
IIRC, the H22 crankshaft spins clockwise while the F20C crankshaft spins counterclockwise.

I don't think the OP is trying to put the F20c in his car. He is unaware of the fact that they are really 2 very different motors even though they are both in the F family.......
The F20b and F20c are two completly different motors. Although they are both F-series, they are not at all the same. They spin in opposite directions, The F20b uses a timing belt, while the F20c uses a timing chain. The F20b uses a 5-speed cable tranny ment for FWD, and the F20c uses a 6-speed tranny meant for RWD.
