all i see is pre-release and limited availability... let me know when it comes out to the masses, so anyone can buy it and tune it and a price tag and then maybe i'll consider it.

Actually, that was just posted on his site. If you scroll down, the older post from 9-10 months back is there.

I didn't say it was released or anything, all I was doing was letting a few people know the progress of it.

I got mine direct through the website a few weeks ago. I sprang for the BT module as well, it kicks ***.
My car has never run so well since leaving the stock ECU. Not a big deal for you B and D series guys, but H22s always seem to have niggling issues with Crome, Hondata and Uberdata. Now I get good mileage, great idle and lots of power.

Updating and datalogging through BT is a lot of fun as well, I can do it from across the street almost! (Maybe farther, but I'm not leaving my car running and unattended out of view.)


I'm pretty sure if he sees a lot of interest in RTP boards w/o the onboard logging, he'll make these more available sooner. Otherwise I think it's going to be a wait till that's finished.

You guys should try emailing him at info@hrtuning.com so he can gauge interest, or for the dudes already running the old neptune to see if you can get in on the prerelease.

I think he only has a few dozen available right now, for people already running Neptune.

It still datalogs, but you need to have a laptop connected with bluetooth or a USB cable to datalog on the ones he has right now. Eventually it will be able to save data on internal memory so you can hook up later and get it.
If he sees interest, he might start making them more available, but he thinks nobody will want it without the internal datalogging.

 

How much $$$$$

 

I wonder what kinds of hoops he had to get to manufacture and distribute a bluetooth enabled device.
