Default cleaning injectors

Does Sea Foam really work to clean injectors cuz my throttle response hasnt been too good lately and I think its my injectors, but I dont wanna have to spend a bunch of money on new injectors cuz I'm gonna be selling it soon.

depends on what your idea of really works is and how poorly your engine has been kept. if your engine uses quality fuels, you do your routine maintenance, and don't drive like a moron, seafoam won't show much change. but if your car has been abused fairly, or is fairly old, seafoam does wonders. it restores 1 HP maybe, but will clean all carbon from your system. you'll see a nice white cloud of smoke from your exhaust if you inject it through your PCV or your intake throttle body.

To really clean injectors you can take them off and have them put in one of those harmonic cleaners. I can't think of the name of them right now but that works.

just make sure to change the oil right after using Seafoam. it thins out your oil. i may have overdone it on my LS1 which caused the car to knock more now (on cold starts).

i poured in a whole bottle through the PCV hose. let the car sit overnight. next morning, drove it for about 2-3 miles to warm up the oil. changed the oil/filter.

much better throttle response and felt some power (maybe in my head). but some extra knocking when it's cold out. although knocking is a known problem in LS1 motors.

don't pour the whole can. pour about 1/3 or half if you're feeling ballsy. i recommend 1/3 on a full tank.
