Well i went to the track on wensday night.. i just dropped my DOHC zc in my car on monday night... here are the mods i have done

DOHC ZC
aem fuel rail
aem intake
dc sport header
energy suspension motor mount inserts
2 1/4 exhaust (straight pipe) with a megan racing tip
unorthodox racing under drive pully
car is dummped in the front...
and my O2 sensor was messin with me... sometimes a check engine would come on sometimes it wouldnt so im changin that out today..

well my fastest time was a 15 flat... but my reaction time was a .450 (very bad) i was just wondering do u think this is a fair time for this setup? the car was also gutted in the back... i think i might just throw a 75 shot on it and try to run low 14's

 

15 flat with a stock dohc zc is good..get that o2 sensor fixed and you shoud hit 14s..What tires did you have?

 

You should be very happy with 15 flat I went to the track wednsday with my B16 CRX HF and my best was a 15.71 and that was with a 2.3 60ft, maybe I should go back to D-series.

 

Lots of people say that with B16 swaps in EF's.

Did you do a OBD 0 swap?

i had Falken ZIEX tires on... they stuck pretty well... i figured a 15 flat isnt to bad figuring my sohc zc supercharger with just a intake and FMU not tuned ran a 14.9... i ran 15.2's all day and hit a 15 flat once... im going back not this wensday but the next one... and i should have a 75 shot hooked up and im going to port my dr sport headers because the ports dont match up right to the block

 

my friend ran samething with a 91 si hatch with same tires.... fix that reaction time and u can get it in the 14s

i got same tires as well love em 8)
and i got 91 4door with samething hopeing for a low 15 when i go

u have a hard time believeing my ZC ran a low 15? well i got 6 time slips here that are all in the 15's... i can even get u pics of my car... i told u the mods it has done and my car just had the driver seat/carpet/dash... i weighed it at just under 2,000lbs... i also had my tire pressure at 15psi....

Reaction time doesn't factor into ET, you could have a 10 second reaction time on that run and it would still be a 15 flat, the time doesn't start until you break the beam when you take off.

lol ya but im sayin i wana get my reaction time down... i just gota learn to drive the car a lil better... i wana be able to hit 14's with out the zex kit... im also going to port out my headers this weekend to port match the DOHC zc...

but seriously, why do you have a hard time beleiving his car ran 15s? my d16a6 weighing about 2100lbs runs low 15s also. maybe you're just being a pooper

 

sounds like a good time, but believable IMO. Ur supercharged SOHC ZC sounds a little slow at 14.9's tho. most people with SC'd a6's run 14.5's -14.3's. Put the SC on the DOHC ZC

I know a Girl that has ran 15.3's in a bone stock Si. What planet are you from? Do they only type in caps lock there?

i think im going to have to say BS on that one.. i dont think a BONE STOCK crx SI can do a 15.3.. i dont care who the driver is...

 

dude.. news flash.. but no one brags about running a 15. the kid is legit as far as i am concerned. his slip that he typed looks good to me, and we are talking about a 15 second quarter mile. oh yeah and the caps lock key is one of the big keys on the left, third up from the bottom.

work on that reaction time and try to be consistent, and you will be a good drag racer no matter what setup you have.

thanks... ya im just posting wat my dohc zc did.. i am totaly not tryin to brag about ****.. i mean there were some sick as rides out there... runnin low 12's... i decided to go back this wednesday to just try my luck again... and im going out tomorrow to just practice a few lil launches with a few dif. tire pressures.. i want to at least hit a 14 with the setup i got right now... and then once i get my civic runnin (should be on monday) im going to pull the zc back out and port/polish the head/intake mani/throttle body and might upgrade the valve train if i got the cash...

 

and he did it at lacr with the elevation problems so you shouldn't doubt zc's dohc or sohc.

sixty-seven point six did it at lacr and my homie 1quiksohc did also in his zc sohc with i/h/e with a pg7
