Headlight removal
Im installing some new corner lights on my 92 prelude si. Ive run into some problems removing the old corner lights. Ive tried taking out the whole headlight housing but i cant get it out. Do i need to remove the front bumper to get to the housing? Is there an easier way?
you dont need to take the entire headlight assembly out just to change t he corner lenses. there's one screw on teh top of the headlight holding the corner lenses on, then you simply pull the corner lense out towards the front of the car.

/\/\Yup. Just find that little screw on top of the corner lense and stock a screwdriver down in the hole and unscrew it. Then it slides out...
Trust me, you really don't want to jack with taking the headlights out.

As stated after you remove the screw you can just pop the corner light out, just pull straight forward. I don't think the corner lights were ever changed on my car, so the little ball-in-socket type clip that holds the light in place was rusted. The easiest way to remove the light was to look down from the top (where you removed the screw) and drive a thin screwdriver into the two parts of the clip and pry it apart. Then make sure to grease the clip when you put it back together so its easier to get out the next time.
If you ever want to remove the headlights for whatever reason check out this site, it gives you a step by step instuctions for the headlight removeal.
