will a 90-91 or civic guage cluster work for my 91 crx hf

Yes.

But you'll lose the factory shift light and unless you have an engine swap, the redline will be too high.

the dumy light is always a blast... lol just to make sure anyone else will confirm this?

well the problem is that the needle on the tach isn't keeping up with the revs... i don't know how to fix it and instead of dicking around i was just going to buy a new one... why would you want the hf one?

i once seen a rex with a 92-95 civic guages in them not on the net but in town, it was for sell awhile back, so its probably easier to do with a 90-91... this kind is new to me about the guages not matching up with the rev.. so if i did a b16a swap into my 88 dx, that has dx cluster would the rpms not match up like they should, when i redline i redline at about 7400 rpms....

Sorry im not trying to jack you thread, just kind of having the same problem as you

does anyone know how to repair the needle if it was taken off then put back on badly ( no i didn't do it )

I would say just get a new cluster from a junk yard or what not
