well i'm checking out a b20z out of a 00' CRV at a local junkyard. My question is, is there anything I should be looking for to determine if the motor has been beat on? They were unsure of how many km were on the motor because they just got the crv in. The motor is still in the car I was told and can be heard running.

I would hate to purchase the motor and do the swap to find out the motor is a POS. Sorry for the noob question.
