Hello, well a week ago my car was having problems starting. It would take a few seconds for the car to start.Now the car wont start. I thought it was the battery since it was old and got a new one and that didnt work. Now i put in a new fuel filter because it didnt sound like the motor was getting any fuel. That didnt work. So im about to replace the fuel pump.

Im just wondering if my Amp and Bass tubes that i install not to long ago might of cuased some kind of electrical problem.

check the main relay before you replace the whole fuel pump..

 

to late man i have the fuel pump out...I bought a new pump and im going to install it in the morning. I heard about the main relay. Now is that alot of money to replace? I dunno what it is.

its not that much,,but basically when the main relay goes you dont get fuel or spark..its a relay right under the dash on the driver side to the left of the fuse box

 

Well if my new fuel pump doesnt work that will be the next thing i check. Thanks for the info!

 

It was the fuel pump. My car is finaly running!!!!
