okay so when i turn the key nothing happens at all. push start the car it starts. so i figured the starter took a ****. replace the starter...same thing car still wont start. so we check the starter relay its good...checked all the fuses...replaced the ingnition switch...still nothing. everything is good. i drove the car today to the beach...went to leave and it wouldnt start. anyone have any ideas what it could be???

 

try main relay. check all connections. check all basic crap.

 

connection from the ignition to the starter or connection from the battery to the starter. do u have power when its off like lights and everything?

 

main relay is good. car runs when i push start it or jump it from the starter...and yes the car does have power...all the dash lights are on when i try to start it....all connections are good...car drove fine...went to drive home and it wouldnt start...

 

I had this prob with my 90 crx. What happened to me was the power cable to the battery was badly corroded. Check that or the ground.

 

so it starts with the key when u jump it from the starter? what about jumping it from the battery? if it jumps at the starter then the power wire to the starter from the battery is not connected or making a good connection.

 

Try a new starter? i got a bad one from autozone. I was pissed.

 

i fugured it out...clutch switch was bad...thanks everyone.
