Default Type R resale value in the years to come...

I was wondering... what an R's value will be in the years to come. Especially with low mileage and really clean.

Will we be in the same ballgaem as the NSX?? 92-93s are selling for like $40,000+ here in canada...

simple. it will depend on how many are left and how many of us want one, and if you ask me, there wont be enough for everyone. ultimately prices will depend on how much people are willing to pay. in 15 years, if my financial plans work out, you can thank me now in advance for jacking up the price because if i find one hiding in a heated garage in prisitine unmolested original condition, i will pay ANY price. money no object

oh...and 40Gs? that will be a STEAL!

Well, i mean just hold its value and not depreciate.

Look at other cars like the WRX, they go for like 11-12gs for an 02 now.

You cant buy a 98 R for that money!

So far they have held their value very well as long as they are in good condition with low miles. Maybe one day just finding one will be a challenge and will bring 40-50k for an alright one. The same as a true Hemi Cuda, or Gt-500 does now. Nobody knows for sure though.

I threw my 98 R with clean title for $15k. That is a hell of a good price since mine has a built 2.0l motor. The kbb.com value is up there at 15k too. I think they might go down a bit but then they will hold and go up in value. Just like real estate
