"Check Engine" light on... any ideas?

"Check Engine" light on... any ideas?
Well this is out of nowhere. I'm guessing since my o2 sensor was rubbing on my exhaust I may have finally ruined it. If the o2 sensor takes a **** it will throw a CEL right? I'll eventually hook it up and see what code comes up.
How much does a new one cost?

Yes, if the O2 sensor does take a ****, it will produce a CEL.
It will cost over $200 each (primary or secondary) from the dealership. You might as well buy a universal one (Bosch, Denso) and splice it into your plugs. The universal ones might cost around $100 or below, I believe.
