well, there MAY be a reason, which is why i'm posting

in the past week or so my car has been doing some very odd things... my passanger side headlight keeps blowing out. while driving the brake and battery light both come on together and sometimes flash on and off a few times (also together) and the abs light also comes on but on it's own. when i accelerate, the headlights get brighter along with my interrior lights and even the water temp gauge goes up just a little bit (one notch, or so). i've had my alternator belt tightened and i'm quite sure the battery is grounded just fine... i have no idea what the problem could be.

Sounds to me like you have a short somewhere to another circuit. That explains the passenger light blowing out.

 

take your battery in and have it tested. Also, check your brake fluid and be sure it full...

 

i'm already done all that...

but today my battery blew up on the highway... so i'm gonna have a tech take a real close look at my alternator tomorrow

 

welll i replaced the alternator.. problem solved.


now i just need a new battery
