Welcome to the A series family
I have an 89 LX-i but it's gonna stay stock.
I have seen a couple with a turbo and stock bottom end pushing no more than 10 psi

B-series swaps are totally custom now, since no mounts are made for it any more. But the Is a how to on modding some of the stock mounts on http://www.3geez.com. The easiest thing to do is turbo but that also involves a custom manifold.

If i were you i would start with the easy mods, exhaust, intake(yes on a carb), cam, and an upgraded carb, etc. OR you could swap to efi and go from there. Efi will give you less headaches and it makes it easier to go turbo and to swap motors.

My car was carb before but i have converted to efi and am in the process on going to OBD1. I also have almost everything that I need to be turbo, I'm just lacking the fuel management at this point.

Hope this helps you some Either way come join 3geez and start reading because there's tons of info there, my screen name is the same there if you need any help.
