Skelly's thoughts about Expo 6
After being home for a day has it finally sunken in how much fun I had at the expo. The driving experience was a blast. I had no idea my car could do what it did on the track. Initially, I was looking to go to the Expo because of driving on the track, but next year it will be to hang out with the guys from the expo.
I seriously could not have met a better group of people. Some people say ITR owners have an “I’m better than you attitude due to the car I drive, and I’m a stuck up *******” mentality, but I can honestly say that is definitely not the case. These guys are amazing. Anyone there would literally bend over backwards to help you out with anything you would need being car related or not. For example I needed some help bleeding my brakes and literally 10+ people volunteered to help.
An example of a few people I got to meet. I know I cannot list you all but I cannot wait to see you guys next year.
1. Victor. Such a cool guy. Victor drive up with us in the NE caravan and I got to talk to him a lot. His business will sooner or later receive some of my business. I guarantee it.
2. Migs( Mike). After meeting migs I could tell he was a good person. This dude drive like 20 hours to get to the expo and as soon as he got there he offered to help me bleed my brakes. You can’t find a nicer person to offer something like that. And I really appreciated his offer. He came with his girlfriend who was also super cool. Migs, Carl, Carl’s girlfriend and I went out to dinner Tuesday night to an excellent restaurant and we talked about everything from cars, occupations, girls, ect. After eating Migs pulled a super sneaky move and paid for our dinner. I was stunned how much of a nice guy he was. I really appreciate the meal mike! See ya next year!.
3. Rob. I heard a lot of stories about this guy and I didn’t really know what to expect when I first met him. He had me laughing literally 30 seconds after he showed up with Edwin. I really liked Rob because no matter what he was making people laugh. At the banquet Rob was yelling all kinds of stuff and everyone was going crazy. A couple things he was yelling…. “Oh that’s hot!” , “Subaru!!”, “Yeah Len! He hooks everyone up!”… ect. Hes also a super fast driver. He was driving canuckR’s car and he was flying. Leaving with the NE caravan he was ******* with me the whole time so that made it fun.
4. Carl (ITR 2K) Real sweet Canadian dude. Took me for a ride when he was on the track. Carl is an amazing driver. He was flying out there.
5. The WV boys. (Chris, Erik, Alex) Obtained a lot of camera information from chris. was fun sitting around with Chris and Erik while they made fun of Alex. Got a lot of laughs from these guys.
6. Koyola Yummies and his GF. Both super cool people. It was very nice to pit next to you guys the first day. I appreciate you letting me use your air gauge also. See you guys next year!
Also I would like to thank everyone who set up this event. I was amazed how professional this event was. Everything was organized really well. I cannot imagine how long it took to make this even happen. But I would just like to say thanks
SEE YOU BITCHES NEXT YEAR

This is key.
It was very cool meeting you dude. Had fun chatting and the pink wheels are hawt! Glad you made it out and hopefully we'll see you at the next one. Like Chris said we're only a couple hours away so we may be able to meet up sometime sooner then just the next expo.

I am glad to see that Victor was the first person you mentioned. He is one of my favorite people here, and is responsible for getting me out to my first track event in VA (not sure how Corey/Bryan/George/NASA-VA) ever forgave him). He doesn't make a ton of noise, and is very modest, but he's just the kind of person a car community needs to succeed.
Ditto Rob, on the other end of the noisy spectrum
Rob showed me a great time in NYC and also called me while I was in the hospital...a class act and a friend for life.

Not only is the Mugen Wing functional, it's also strong enough to hold up a group of people!

Nice, everyone keeps telling me the mugen wing starts to grow on you after a while and now that i can see it do that I'm sold. This was definitely a blast. Your are so right too kevin it is about the people and our common interest's. If it was about the cars we'd be stealing each others R's like everyone else in the world
PINK DOES MORE THAN YOU THINK BITCHES!!!
O yeah does anyone else still have the sound of VTEC ringing in their ears when they try to sleep at night.

nice to meet you too Kevin. To finish our conversation at dinner, go with your heart. I have been on both sides of the fence and I can tell you doing it the way I said at the table works out the best (at least for me).
