No real problem, just annoying
i have this problem too, but to a lesser degree. a while back ago i had it at hte dealership for something and i mentioned it to the tech. he said theres nothing you can do, unless you wanna try lubing it with wd-40. since mine isnt very bad at all, not worth the effort.
My '02 EP had a clicky-squeaky clutch pedal, but it turned out that it wasn't the pedal itself. Instead, it was the clutch master cylinder, and after failing to quiet the noise with lube, the dealership replaced it for me.
I remember reading that an internal spring inside the assembly would bind and scrape against the inside of its housing, causing the noise.
This was more common back in the first year and a half of the EP, but I haven't heard much about it on the forums ever since. It's either been fixed for good or people just aren't posting about it like they used to.
