Damn, I can't believe it. Ever since my speeding ticket I have shapened up and

drove responsible. But leaving my friends house to get some poonany , I get

pulled over by a cop out of nowhere. He gives me a ticket for yielding at a stop

sign which i feel i stopped at. He basically treats me like a criminal and

harasses me. I am getting tired of this ****... I know its because of my car.

But no i have no ricey **** on my car, except if you count hyper white bulbs as

ricey. **** my car, I think i am gonna sell it and get a damn truck

Any hope in getting this ticket dismissed? What strategies should i take?

If you thought you were right, plead not guilty when you respond to the ticket. I've seen it here where they just nollied the charge. I'm sure what you were driving had some influence in the stop. Good luck!!

 

Do you know how many tickets cops hand out each day? Im sure less than 10% of them are to "ricer" loooking cars. Having a car that stands out will obviously draw more attention to you but I dont think cops specifically look to pull you over because of that. Of course Im speaking overall, of course they are exceptions, dont flame me. But I see plently of soccer moms in mini vans pulled over too. They see you out of line they will pull you over.

However Im not defending the cop. He was probably trying to fil his quota so he could go home. Take it to court, they wil probably reduce or drop it.

 

i have to disagree with you on that, just think of all the times, RED cars get pulled over, i have read numerous times of this happening and other people getting away. Also in my area cops dont give tickets to pretty young girls...

 

I have a blue 00 si and ever since I bought that car I have received a total of four tickets, and now I am on probation for a year also. Before I had bought the si I had a 95 white civic ex, and a green 94 integra four door, both lowered and with rims and with those 2 cars I had a combined total of 2 tickets in 4 years. I think the car has an influence on whether or not you get pulled over.

 

Yeah especially in San Antonio , where you see high school kids driving riced out vechicles literally on every block. This ticket absolutely must be dismissed because i am on probation for a speeding ticket.
