Default JDM fog lights 5th gen Prelude

Hello,
First of all i want to say im sorry because of my bad english because i'm from germany and i hope you'll understand what i'm talking about. I drive an 97 Prelude and i have the european Fog lights that are the round once, on my car and i want to have the JDM fog lights. I found some onlinestores where i can buy an kit for about 399Dollars that plus shiping is a bit to expensive fore some fog lights i think. Know i have tried the way over my Hondadealer. He made an request fore that at Honda Germany and they say they only can get the Housing. that would only cost me about 120Euros. Do somebody here knows if the H3 base fits instead of the H3C base in the Housing of the JDM Fog light? I hope that thing called base. I mean that where i can plug the bulbs in. And do i need special Mounting plates for the JDM fog lights ore are they the same as the other once?
kind regards
Dominik

you have to convert it to an H3 adaptor. There is a writeup on Preludeonline about how to do it.

that isn't the thing i mean. I don't wan't to use the H3 Bulbs in the base where normaly the H3C Bulbs should come in. I can get the housing of the JDM fog lights without any base where i can plug an Bulb in. and i would like to know if the H3 Base for the bulbs that i have got in my actual fog lights (oem Honda Europe), fit in the Housing of the JDM fog light and if i need other mounting plates for these lights.

H3 and H3C have the same basic shape, only thing is the H3's only have 1 wire where as the H3C's have 2 prongs............

so to answer your question, yes they will fit

those are the brackets that mount them on to the bumper, remove whatever you have on there now and you can just screw those on, its super simple, just plug the bulbs into your new housing

Thanks that realy helps me . Do someon got the Honda Partnumber of the metal supports(mounting plate)? ore dose someon knows how i can get the JDM EPC work on my system? ok i think the biggest problem would be that i don`t understand japanese but i't shouldn`t be so hard to get the partnumber if you know how to use the EDM EPC. I've downloaded the JDM EPC from Icelord.net.
