Is anyone here running Kosei K1-TS rims?
Anyone here using Kosei K1-TS 14”x6” rims?
I am looking to replace my stock 14”x5.5” steelies and these looked like some nice rims. They only weigh 9.3# each (compared to around 18# for each steel wheel).
Thanks,
John

I'm hopefully going to be getting the 15x7's here soon. For you, going from 18lbs to 9lbs is going to give you a very, very nice weight reduction. Good luck
I am still looking at these two Kosei rims: Kosei K1-TS 14”x6”(9.3#) for $120 or the 15”x7” (10.6#) for $150 @ the TireRack. I plan on running 195 width tires on either of these rims.
My question is, should I get the 14x6 Kosei K1-TS rims? Or, should I go with the larger 15x7 size?
Is the additional 1”(width & height) worth spending an additional $120 for the 15x7 rims?
The car is my daily driver and my suspension will soon have H&R OE Sport springs with Bilstein HD shocks. I am trying to find some lightweight, strong & reasonably priced wheels for my car to replace the stock 18# steel wheels.

Do you think that the Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 (14”x7”/38mm offset) rim would be a good choice?

wheels can be strong/cheap/light choose any two (enkei rpf1s being the best compromise for sport compacts)

The Team Dynamics are strong wheels. They are 13 lbs for the 15" and I'm sure would be plenty strong for you. Just don't be an idiot and pay attention to where you are going to on the road.
The last 3 sets of wheels I've had were in that weight range and were all daily driven. There are always certain occurances that can potentially damage a wheel, but more than likely it would damage any wheel. (if it's that bad)
For a daily driver wheel somewhere in the 12-13 lb range is generally acceptable as far as strength goes. ie...Rota slipstream, Enkei RP02, Team Dynamics 1.2, something of that nature. Getting any lighter than this in a cast wheel is generally a little more risky for a daily driver.
