Default Vtec help!!

can any one help me with my car i put a 96 honda accord f22B1 vtec engine in my 91 honda accord ex. it was auto before but already made it manual any advice will help on how te hook up the vtec. also do i need to put the ecu from the 96 for the vtec to work ???

You should absoloutley put the ecu from the 96 in there... as far as the VTEC is concerned... do you have everything wired properly?

ECU pinouts would be different (OBD-1 vs. OBD-2) so you'll need to have all that converted for the '96 ECU.
