Just got my 2006 Acura TL w/ 9 miles on it . It's a 5-spd auto w/ navi... So far its WAY better than my civic but what do you expect

Thanks guys... I drive like a grandma compared to my civic..and it feels like a f-ing tank. (which is a good thing). I only have tested it once on its speed (still breaking it in), only taking it to 5K rpm's w/ my roommate...lets just say, it scared me.

lol... go to acurazine.com. There are plenty of 16-18 yr olds w/ this car... i'm not a baller just a very lucky man.
For ex. one kid had a 05 TL, asking what his next car is goign to be a, 07 camry, 07 tl, or 07 lexus something.... he's like, "well my parents... " -end of story.

p.s. my parents didnt buy this car for me.

36 flat OTD. Thats w/ the extended warranty.. w/o it would have been 34,600.

 

Nice car...I have a 05 AM navi 5AT TL with the quartz interior.

The car is not much faster then my last to EM1 but it is a lot different.

What color interior, did you get the navigation?

 

Thanks man... Nice car for you as well . I got navi... find it kind of useless b/c it seems to be a pain in the *** to use and confusing at times. But I still have to read the manual.

I got the ebony interior.. I figure that will probaly be the easiest to keep clean.

Have you done the dom's PnP yet?

Well I had a civic b4 this (not the SI), and its ALOT faster for me

Not sure what that is but the car hasn't been touched...but I sure would love the a-spec package with the comptech treatment.

I search alot by category and phone number. Searching by name always gets me something I wasn't looking for usually in a distant place.

 

 

you think yours is scary you should take a ride in a 6 spd TL wow thats why i love mine so much and lets just say brembo brakes are the **** but either way you got a bad *** car for less than 40k good for you

Thanks, I test drove the 6spd TL, I thought it took away from the luxury point of buying a 30-40g range car... just my humble opinion. It was fast though

Thanks mang, umm... I want to do the navitodvd conversion, add a link to my ipod, and install a rearview camera. Maybe way down the road drop it and add some wheels but right now its perfect the way it is. What color combo did you get?

Good luck w/ trying to allow you driving her car..hehe. I'm so **** about my car.. whenever I park, I park WAY AWAY from anyone else.. .even if it makes me walk 2x as far.. . All navi TL's are voice activated... I just havent figured out all the commands.. and I guess I dont pronounce my words clearly enough b/c when I say "Climate Control Off", it replies "XM radio ON" or something crazy like that.

its because if you have the air or fan higher than 1 bar it wont hear you right i figered that out when i told acura my car was broken ha ha

 

you'll love it, im a proud 05 6MT/NAVI owner...... very few mods, but cool ones, i just got the mad JDm black housing headlihgts finished last night, will have pics later

^Did you diy or you pay someone to do it for you, I really want to get rid of the yellow reflector but I'm afraid of water leaking in, I had that problem w/ my headlights. It was so damn frustrating.

i did it, i hope i get no leaks, i just finished them today... if it leaks, ill take em apart and re-seal em
