With a B16 yea around here that would be decent, offer him $1500 needs paint that sucks look for hidden rust and make sure the motor and trany are good if they suck and the shell is rusted out then its worth ****

Not only that, make sure he smogged it less than 90 days before selling it to you or else it's going to be a bitch for you to get it smogged.

In CA it is the SELLERS responsibility to get the car smogged before selling it you. Don't let him pull a fast one on you, call the DMV or even look on their website: http://www.dmv.ca.gov

Good point there. yeah i was planning on talking the guy down, because of the paint and missing trim peices. Also i'm gonna check to see if the swap was a hack job. so he says its an Si....lol i'll have to be sure of that....thanks for all ur input!

 

$1800 is a deal if its running properly.

 

id say do it, if all else fails, you could pull the motor and sell it for a good $1200-$1500 and have a free shell to work with for basically $300

but **** i paid double for half the power.... so if it was me id do it. I also live in a emissions free state though

 

Give him $1500 as long as the motor is all G and there is no rust. Then it's a good deal

 

i would say no..chances are the car is illegal,,you dont know whats under that paint,and thats someone elses unfinished project...but its up to you

 

well i went to go look at the car. the body is all straight besides the missing trim peices. interior is OK. the swap was done pretty decent but its missing the front mount. i still dont know if its actually worth it. im still talking to the guy, (trying to get him down to 1300)

Front mount? most b-series mount kits eliminate the front mount,,i know my hasport did

 

does it come with a full set of circuit 8's? cause i see one on the driver side rear.

Look at in person and regardless of the running condition I wouldnt go over 1500.

 

full set of rims comes with car...the front tires are SUPER BALD! i saw them...still trying to get him down to $1300

yeah he did sell it...i ended up not buying it...he wouldnt go down on the price...and he didnt return my phone call .....oh well im sure i'll find another better deal
