i have a gsr motor. i just rebuild it so it is 20k miles old
is it a good idea to go turbo or should i try to go all motor.
what would be cheaper to get more hp for good amount of money and relaible ?

a buddy of mine just dyno'd his (semi built) gs-r turbo at 400whp...
you will spend a lot of money either way but turbo will get you better gain if you get the right one and tune it right. it's always advised to get better internals if you plan to boost 12+ psi

Cheapest....go NOS. I have friends that "HAD" GSRs which could go high 12's / low 13's on a completely stock motor. Well...they had I/H/E, NOS, upgraded ignition, spark plugs/wires, performance tires and something else that regulates the output of NOS, totally forgot what that is though...I think my friend who could consistently hit 12's stripped the inside of his integra. Might have had an LSD too.

I agree with this, BUT if you want the power to always be there, BOOST is your best option.
