Default Any other lights?

Alright, I have looked again and again and I still can't seem to find any way to use ANY aftermarket headlight bulbs. I had to result back to using the OEM halogen bulbs after all my attempts failed. And before you ask, yes I tried the Silver stars, and yes I called the dealership and begged for help. All they said is that the car would only accept the OEM halogen bulbs.

I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! Can't afford the HID kit as for a I have a child on the way so that is out too.....

Maybe a bad set. Try again and if no dice try other brands. I know PIAA and PIT have some out. Look at http://www.clubrsx.com

should I try again with the Silverstars and try and take the whole headlight assembly off the car? I just don't get why the dealership would say that the car could not accept anyothers than the OEM S#!t

Did you swing by a PepBoys or Autozone? Alot of those have the electronic headlight choosers

Year > Make > Model > Trim > Brand > Size

Worked perfect for my civic and accord

silverstars =

I had a 97 prelude which took h1 bulbs and they went out 3 times before I decided to switch to PIAA bulbs. Ever since switching to PIAA's, I haven't had to change my bulbs again (been over 3 years). The silverstars lasted about 1 week.

Stay far far away from H1 Silverstars... PIAA all the way!

Yeah, my first set of Silverstars lasted about two weeks. If these go out, I'm switching to another brand.

I guess that I will look into the HID conversion...... don't know if the wife will go for that or not but it is worth the try....

These halogen bulbs are just S@%T and don't give off any light at all....

If you are on a budget try another set of bulbs. (PIAA) If those go to crap then you might want to consider an HID conversion, but be prepared to drop about $300+ and more for labor if you don't do it yourself and if you don't know already you have to buy the highbeam and low beam separate.

The labor isn't terribly hard. My boyfriend and I did HID retrofits for his Prelude in about half an hour.

He got his lights at http://www.rallylights.com.

I left my car at home for college, so I got used to driving his Prelude. Now that I'm back home, my headlights seem really dim Trust me, HIDs are worth it! Sell it to your wife as a safety upgrade. She can't disagree with that, can she?
