OK guys. Lately when I starts up my car for the first time of the day it has a really low idle, it still runs but is idling around 400-500rps. After about 30 seconds the idle goes up to normal. Also when I'm coming to my first stop, the cluthch in and the brake pressed the car sometimes cuts off. The rpms don't fluctuate, they just drop and the engine cuts off. After this happens they car starts right back up and runs fine. Also when the car was warming up to day and I turned the AC on just to see what it would do a somewhat loud clicking sound was coming from the engine bay. It sounded like the sound the AC has always made when I first turn it on. Only this time it did it repeatedly in a rythm. All the while the rpms are low. The sound was coming from the alternator side of the engine. After I had been driving the car for aboiut 15 minutes and cut the AC on at idle to see if it would do it again it was fine. Then later after the car had sat for 20 minutes or so I started it back up and the idle was low, increasing to normal after about 30 seconds of driving. I dont know if you guys can help me out any but I figured its worth a shot. Im gonna take it tpo the dealer I guess and see what they think since I think they might cover it under warrenty. Just an update. The problems i mentioned happened at around 2:30 this afternoon when the temperature was around atleast 90 degrees with high humidity. Kkow that I think abouyt it pretty much the only times it does this is when its Virginia hot and humid. I drove home from work tonight at 10:20 the temperature almost cool ouytside and none of the previous problems were evident. Thanks, Ryan

 

check your coolant level, you might have an air bubble....also reset the ecu and retry again
