searched but none of them fully answered my question. i just wanted to know if i'm supposed to cut out the entire plastic piece off so i do this correctly.

 

honestly, it doesn't really matter. as long as you have the 3 or 4 extensions to screw the screws into, thats all you need.
plus, if you have the covers too, you wont even see it.


personally, i would cut the bar off, just cuz its a PITA to get the fog lights out sometimes when i need to replace the bulb.
