All I had previously was a bottle on the passenger side floor. Took me several hours to install it this weekend and let me just tell you that it was a bitch. I feel a lot better with the little pullknob that says "Fire" on it within an arms reach. I had no chance of getting to the old bottle arrangement. I did leave it in for any unsuspecting passenger that might be on fire.
