i just got a parts car and i dont know much about engines, so can someone tell me if this is a front mount intercoler, and if so will i be able to put it on my 91? my parts car that its on now is an 88



also my parts car has 2 fans, and my 91 only has 1, is it better to have 2, are crx's sapose to have 2? if so would the 2nd fan work with my 91?

 

no it's not an intercooler. It's some sort of cooling unit though I forget which one. AC or Powersteering or something. Someone else will know.

The two fans are radiator fan and A/C fan? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You can hook up the AC fan but you will either have to put a switch on it or wire it into the radiator fan so it will automatically kick on.

What trim ( Hf, CRX (DX), Si) is your 88 parts car?

 

my 88 is an si, and since your saying its an ac fan then it doesnt even matter to me anyway right now, my 91 doesnt have ac anyway

Judging by the condition is it, it's garbage. Even if it was an intercooler, it's in horrible shape and would be garbage.

Wouldn't you look for the turbo first?

 

front mount intercoolers are just for turbos? okay... that shows how much i dont know... im still young and new to the game....
