I thought there was a thread discussing this. Maybe it was another site. Anyhow, I need to remove the headlights on my 2006 Accord to ship out for a retrofit. Anyone have experience with this? Is it similar to a 5th/6th gen Civic bumper bumper removal?

I've never heard of marking a vehicles highest light output before removing the assembly Is this really necessary? If you put everything back in like OEM (flush) shouldn't the lights be aimed in the same position?

Mine will be retrofitted once I get them back anyhow, not applicable here

yeah, I wouldn't worry about marking anything. The person/people doing the retrofit should be able to tell you how to aim the headlights.
