Default obd0 d16z6 into crx hf

Ok here we go. Just to clear this up it is my homies car, and I have already tried convincing him to run obd1 and even that he would rather have a b16 but he is on a budget.

Second thing, his crx is dpfi. Also his homie has a crx hf an 89 and his is also dpfi I was like what the expletive. Anyway, I was just trying to make sure that it will run with the mpfi conversion , si dizzy(88-91) a pwo ecu and all the d16z's injectors and fuel rail, hooked to a resistor box. I have searched so save it. I just want to make sure someone actually tells me that this will work. Its his only car. So just hook it up just like an si and use the map sensor off the tb instead of on firewall, and run vtec wires to ecu.
Please confirm this for me homies.

The dizzy will work but you will have to cut the ears for the dizzy to work.

I was running a z6 in a 91 hf. It had an PM6 ecu, resistor box and an a6 dizzy, with all the ears cut. For vtec it had this ghetto *** rpm activated thing. It ran.

No problem.

Still ran OBD0 injectors, just to clarify.

You make it sound like doing a OBD0 Z6 swap is hard.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've always known HF to be MPFI

Yah I always thought they were too. Its probably a dx. I thought it be a plug and play till I popped his hood. I don't HAVE to run the d16a6 injectors do i

If you get rid of the resistor box the you are going to run OBD1 injectors, but if you keep the box, you are going to run OBD0 injectors.

How do I"get rid of the resistor box" just unplugg it?

There is no real gain from getting rid of the resistor box.

There is some info in this topic that i started about the resistor box.

I don't need an obd1 ecu to run the d16z injectors as long as I cut the resistor box plug off and solder everywire together in a big clump?

are you getting rid of the resistor box b/c you don't want to spend money on getting new obd0 injectors?

I would think you would need a OBD1 ecu if you are going to try and run the OBD1 injectors and no resistor box.

You really can't run some parts obd1 and some parts obd0, it really doesn't work that way. Its either all or none.

Just buy 4 new obd0 si injectors and keep the resistor box. For $68 you can get all 4 new injectors from autozone.

But if you want to go obd1 I have a p28 and the whole conversion harness and vtec subharness.

I was just looking at what you have. You want to run a D16z6 with a B16a ecu?

Yah. I understand it will run rich but he is running an aftermarket manifold.
Also in the post that u made on it someone said that you could run obd1 2 or 0 injectors on any setup as long as you remove resistor box and vice versa.
But I need to know for sure. He needs to know what to buy.

If you want to stay true obd0 just get the obd0 injectors, keep the resistor box and get a pm6.

This guy is on aserious budget. No money to chip the pm6 for vtec. At the same time he wants it to run right and actually have vtec maps and if I can use the obd1 injectors than I will use em.as long as they work.

He wants to almost run the car like mine was before i swapped everything. Mine ran on a Pm6 w/ a rpm activated thing for vtec and ran rich as hell. I could tell it wasn't running at its full potential.

I say if he wants to do it right, put the swap off and save more money and do it the right way the first time.

Also is the pw0 going to run the non vtec si dizzy right. Will a Pw0 even run the d16 right?
