Quick Question: Prelude Fogs
Found a Prelude 4ws at the yard yesterday with the fogs in it still. I'm going today to pull them (didn't have my tools with me). What do I want to pull with them to make them work in the CRX?
It's a new yard to me, there's only 1 CRX DX, 1 Si hatch, and 4 or 5 sedans (no EX knuckles though... anymore!). Thinking about getting some rear handles to shave my key holes.

Lights, brackets, as much of the wiring harness as you can get (all the way to the switch if possible). I don't know if the dash switch will fit the civic dash holes or not but anything can be modified to work.
It's a lot of work to pull all that stuff and when I did it, I ended up just selling it all instead of using it because of what was involved to get it to work/look right.
Good luck though

I just mounted mine directly to the bumper. It's pretty ghetto.
One thing with the prelude fogs is that even though they are the same basic shape as the jdm crx fogs. . .they are actually slightly larger. They don't fit in the 90-91 crx fog light holes too well. I had to do a lot of hacking in there to make them fit.

the prelude switch won't fit the EF dash at all.
go ahead and get as much of the assembly as you can including wiring. However, unless you do a lot of cutting to your EF bumper, you won't have any use for the Prelude mounting brackets. (The foglights by themselves barely jam into the hole on the EF, much less with the brackets.) I secured mine with a couple of screws through the top and bottom with the bumper off the car.
You'll see once you get started.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to mount them on my car or just sell them. If I do put them on my car, I don't think I will put them in the holes anyway, especially if more fabbing is required. I prefer the look of fogs closer to the center of the bumper. I also already have a set of small fogs there, I could just remove them and use the wiring and switch for the new lights if I use them.
Anybody have any pics of these things mounted up?
Is it worth taking the brackets, or will I just end up throwing them away?
