?? more power with little fuel left
i have a 93si h23 with cai/h/e/apexi afc2 .. and its supposedly tuned at about a 14.1 across.. because thats where it pulled most power.. anyways.. when i have about 1 bar left of gas it seems i get about 10-20hp more.. it hauls *** .. does anybody know what this could be, or whats causing that to happen
sounds like you need to recalibrate your butt dyno. The only thing that could make you go faster with less gas in the tank is the fact that youre hauling around less weight. The weight difference might equate to a feeling of having maybe 3 to 5 more hp, if that.

I agree, because a full tank of gas = about ~96lbs......
So, thats a lot of weight.

yeah thats whats everyones telling me but i never have like more than half a tank.. heh.. and its only like 8 lbs per gallon .. so i REALLY doubt thats whats causin all that power when im almost out of gas... friend suggested i might be leaning out
you prolly just drop a little fuel pressure when you're almost out of gas causing it to run lean.
I've noticed the same thing in other vehicles too, but your butt dyno could prolly use some recalibrating.
