Well it's not made of metal.. I've had mine for awhile and have had many spark plug changes.

Yeah, I realize that but it should be at least as durable as the stock cover. Especially, considering the cost of it. I wasn't manhandling it, I used a 3/8 ratched and started cinching it down when it cracked.
I don't think the Spoon Kevlar valve covers are vacuum formed like typical carbon fiber pieces. It seems like they simply stick a 1 sheet of kevlar and resin into a mold and let it cure. Oh well, I can't complain too much, I got mine for free.

I have the spoon one. I keep losing the nuts that hold mine down but here is a picture anyway. I need to Loctite them on I guess. See I have one nut left.
I got mine from JHPUSA.com

Still gets the job done.

Or you can be cool like me and make your own.
jk, but anyway, I made my own. It's not the super-über-cool JDM 1x1 weave like the Spoon, but it's durable. and looks good. It's got factory-like definition, as well.
Here's an old pic from early May. Still had the JDM DC header (now RMF) and Si CAI (now ITR).

Derek, you know if its not super jdm its just not cool.
You should know better not to post something like this!
But to the OP, I as well have been thinking about buying one. I like the look a lot and the weight diffrence seems to be pretty significant given what it actually is. I'll be ordering a spoon one here very shortly.

Weight advantage?
...I guess that extra 3 ounces DOES count.
