Few Questions>!<?
I had a few questions that a search may of been able to help me with but am not to fimilar with website because I am new.
I was wondering first;
- if a RSX-S came with a limited slip
-Second also if my TPS sensor clip was broke and wouldn't plug into my tps if it could be a problem with my car going into v-tec(which it won't) and also if it would make it idle high.
It seems that the sensor reading would tell the computer the percent throttle and may not let it engage if no reading was coming. Also I thought though that the map sensor probably sesnses load and might not need the TPS. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. lee

The TPS does have a good bit to do with the motor because the ECU controls the timing in the ingition and overlap of the camshafts to give you the v-tec "punch". The engine is designed to work in harmony with all of the sensors in the motor and my guess is that without the motor knowing if the throttle is to the floor it's gonna have a hard time putting it in v-tec. Is it under waranty?

Are you serious? That sounds ridiculous. Wouldn't the sensor have its own part number?
