I have a set of Special Edition Rims that I am sick of looking at. I want to get them painted and I am in the process of getting one done just to see what it looks like. I have a set of 5, one for spare. Which is the one I started to sand.

Thing is I have plenty of curb rash to sand as well.

I was wondering if anyone had gone through with this project. How is the outcome and please post pictures.

I dont want to spend hundreds and thousands on new rims and tires on a 4 lug car, esp since newer models are 5 lugs. And I dont plan on buying cars older than 2002 after this one retires.
