NSX Rear caliper equivalent?
Got tired of trying to search. No one in the Tech forum responded.
I know the equivalent to a NSX front caliper is a Legend caliper. Same caliper, just some extra fins on the NSX.
What about the NSX rears? Do they have an equal?

Can't answer your question 100%.
However, there is an R rolling around my area with both NSX front and rear brakes. The rears look massive! Barely clears the 15" stock ITR wheel.

I seriously doubt that you need that much rear braking in an ITR... (and yes, the difference in the pad's area is enormous, about double - 6.01 square inches vs 3.26, according to the service manual, whereas both cars use the same size front pads).

what was required for the "reworking" to get it to fit the DC2 knuckle?
I know what is needed for the NSX caliper and discs.

<--- Cuirous as to why you want more rear stopping power. I too am not happy with stock rear clappers with Cobalt GT-Sport pads. I'm thinking about going with Cobalt spec(C) rear pads soon... Have you tried them?
If so please describe. thanks.

I just feel that with such a big front upgrade I need to upgrade the rears to balance it out... even though I just got the new fronts, and haven't driven the car in over a year...

As is won't work out right now... not untill I get the K running at least...
then I definetly will, I just can't cough up another $600+ for more brakes right now...
for future refernce though, is there any other options for rear upgrades beside the pricey hard to find NSX rears?

Turbo'd track car. We did a few test laps around VIR with some data logs. Top speed on the back straight was 155. (I beleive the ITR tranny max's out at ~155-158)
It's not so much that I 'need' bigger brakes, I just would like some bigger rotors to help with cooling.

.....probably due to the fact that the nsx is MR and more weight over those rear tires means they can actually make use of more brake.

I should have my NSX rear calipers back in a couple of weeks, will take them over to Len for a direct comparision vs. the ITR setup
