Need Help Please!!!, OBD1 JDM H22A swap into 97 prelude and didn't swap the oil pump for CKP sensor.
Here's my problem... We swapped a H22A JDM engine into a 97 Prelude (OBD2A) and didn't switch the oil pumps out for the CKP sensor so obviously the car won't start. We're using the stock USDM ECU, wiring harness, and OBD2 distrbutor. I really don't want too pull the engine back out of the car to swap the oil pumps out for the CKP sensor and I was wondering if there is any way I could steal the signal from the distrbutor somehow, or maybe even swap the dizzy for an OBD1 dizzy if that would help. Any info anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.
You have to swap in the obd1 distributor and wire in the ckp sensor since it is in the distributor or you have to swap oil pumps.
you can do it the ghetto way:
