koni yellow - which coilovers work best
i am looking for people who have these shocks and strus to see what type of coilover/springs work best
i am thinking about getting ground control coilovers
but i hear h&r springs work well
i would rather have coilovers but ground control is kinda expensive, are there any other substitutes that work just as well.
it's either this set up or just tein basic so any opinions would be appreciated.

I've had the GC/Koni combo for a few years now. Great setup. I'd reccoment GC over some other knock-off brand based on personal experience. Plus the fact you can get custom ates is a big plus IMO. What rates are you thinking of using?

what do u mean custom rates? i'm not too familiar with the parts of coiliovers
thanks

Must be new to suspension set ups too.. spring rates determine how stiff a spring is.. not just a coilover term. custom rates means that they offer a few different options for stiffness.

I've been looking into this for a while now too. GC's website sucks ***** so don't think you'll find anything there. GC's are great as you can order your own personal spring rates like mentioned above. the only thing I don't get is I thought GC used Eibach springs. If anyone could clarify that, that would be awesome!
Look into getting the perches and sleeves too if your going to go with the Koni/GC setup. Apparently GC sells some sort of kit but again, their website sucks so I cannot get any info out of them

</TD></TR></TABLE>ground control does use ebiach springs.
what are the perches and sleeves? i did alot of searching and only found one type of coilover that ground control makes for preludes that are using the koni shocks/struts. they have a slightly differant part number that they say fits all the other most common struts, tokia, kyb agx, and other.
but i know they have another part number ending in .02 that says it is to be used for koni.
so does that mean that this part has the perchese/sleeves, other wise how ocme i can't fint anything about that on their site?
thanks again to all
The reason you cant find it on the GC site is because it sucks monkey *****. Search HT for Perches or Sleeves and you'll find some info. It's almost like building your own custom coilovers. You need the Springs, the shocks, the perches and the sleeves to complete the setup or it will not work as far as what Ive gathered.
is this all i would need:

ground control uses eibach springs , i have not found anything that lets you select differant spring rates.
make-year......what shocks....drop..........model number
Prelude 92-......1,2,3,8..........5 to 3.5.......4540.01
Prelude 92-......4..................5 to 3.5...... 4540.02
this explains the what shocks part:
1. Stock, Sachs, Boge
2. Tokico Premium Performance
3. Tokico Illumina
4. Koni
5. Bilstein
6. Neuspeed Bilstein
7. KYB
8. KYB AGX
9. GAB R
10. GAB HP
so would the model number 4540.02 be all i would need with a set of koni?

Not sure about the part numbers. I think you have to contact GC to let them know what spring rates you want. The sleeves are the other parts in that picture you posted. I think the perches are the small round parts in that pic too but not sure exactly.
