EXPO 6 Central Topic for Thoughts and Impressions
Well, I just left the track and I will have to say that I am already sad to leave. This, once again, was a well put together and fun Expo 6. Special thank you to all the organizers, instructors, sponsors, corner workers and the people that came. The environment and people is why I returned to Expo. The people that attend this event cannot be beaten. They are hands down the friendliest people here and their are no barriers. Not once did I feel a barrier or a bad vibe from any of the attendees.
I got to meet some cool people that I finally put a name to a face. Skelly, nsxtasy to name a few but there is plenty more trust me.
I am beat down right now to take a shower and head over to Clementines?

holy crap i had fun.
being the only sohc, (except aquafina i think), was kinda fun, and i learned a lot, had a great time, and am sad its over. i've looked forward to these past few days for the last 8 months or whatever, with great anticipation, and i'm really glad i was there. it was a bit smaller, but it made for a great group of guys (and a few ladies), and i feel it was an awesome couple days. thanks to everyone who put it on, and thanks to everyone i ran with on the track (intermediate), for passing me kindly, or letting my pass kindly. haha

I also had a GREAT time. Got to learn the new car the right way- even made some passengers nervous. he he. I have been looking forward to expo for awhile now and am sad to see it is over and can't wait till next year.

just got home too, exactly one hour drive, lol!
it was a great event and this being my first expo, let alone first time on a track besides auto x, it was an incredible learning experience.
first off, i want to thank my instructor, Mark, in the #424 97 ITR
without him, i dont think i would have survived
also, it was awesome to put faces to user names and people you always talk to, yet have NO IDEA what they look like, such as Migs (mike), dave B, Jon D, and BBasso (which i never heard a peep out of the entire event
, etc.
josh, it was also fun to meet up and drive up, and good luck with the move and new job
i have more to say, but ill finish it up for now
expo 6 =

I had a great time.
I apologize now to anyone in intermediate. I was the ******* in the S2000 passing everyone.
Haha, for the record, I did put in a request to be moved up to advanced so I didn't have to put you guys off line for all of my passes.
Anyway, I had a great time. Except that I had two hours of sleep before the first day because of a little 3.5 hour trip to Chicago to get a clutch for the guy who gets the award for the longest drive.
Stand up Chris (98DC2R) and take your award for your 33-some-hour trip from Washington.

- Session in Erik95LS's caR
- Session trailing Baby NSX
- "What'd I win?"
- Young's banquet comments
- Watching Alex go slow
- Nothing involving room 206 (ghey)

Such an amazing event, the best ppl in any car "club" event, very friendly and helpful, my instructor was amazing, i got alot out of this, considerin i had no previous experience at all. Met alot of cool ppl from all over the place, its cool that u can actually put a face to the names behind the screens on here

i more or less came up by myself. i had spoken with kettering on line and met another guy from cincy once. i expected to come up and be invisable among all the groups of friends but it was quite opposite. as soon as i pull up the tuna crew were handing me a much needed beer. throughout the next few days i managed to meet quite a few other people. i think its safe to say that we have a good group of people here (HT) and not once did i feel un'welcome. nice meeting everyone.......expletive mass bitches.
Very fun and nice event. Tonsd of great people and fast cars!
I was the one in the silver RSX in intermediate trying to catch cone.
My highlights:
Shopping cart of beer in 319
Jaccuzzi
Giving away a del sol for our boy little mikey
and last but not least... Beer Pong in the parking lot!

and I almost forgot, best non-driving highlight:
my raffle ticket # was 572 (the Cone's R number), and it turned out to be lucky. I won the T1R front and rear camber kit. Traded it to my buddy Tony (nemesis0104) for the camcorder I borrowed from him all weekend because I don't need 'dem parts.

A big thanks to all who participated. It was my first expo and it was great. I'll definitly be tracking next year though.
Room 206 was across the hall from me, and honestly, it seem'd pretty gay.

thanks for getting chris' (98DC2R) clutch and flywheel btw. He thought he only needed a new throwout bearing and i had pete bring one, but unfortunately it was more serious than that. Glad he got his new clutch and flywheel and had a blast.
I'll see you on thursday Cone

It was a great event, very well organized and awesome crowd of people. i had a blast other than being burned from the sun because i forgot my sunscreen.
thanks to everyone that made it happen, looking forward to next year! (if its not too far for us canadians)
didnt have the chance to meet as many people as i wanted to, so tired, but those that i did were awesome. Everyone seemed friendly and willing to help each other out.
