Default what do you guys use to value your car to sell with swap and mods

what is you guys using to value your car when you want to sell it, i know i can get the blue book, but how would you price your car with swap, mods and stuff like that.. i know i dumped a ton of cash in crap that ill never get back.. but are we still stuck with blue book!?

Just look up similar cars on eBay. Don't forget to look in the "completed auctions" section. See what they are selling for, and what they are NOT selling for. It will give you a pretty good idea of what people are willing to pay...

Remember that apearance & first impressions are a big thing, so get your car detailed (or do it yourself) before you list it. A spotless engine bay can sure go a long way too...

sometimes it can be below or above blue book... just gotta target the right buyers... ie young peeps with money

Mods don't increase the value of the car. In many cases they actually decrease the value. If the swap isn't smog legal, then the car isn't worth selling.

I'd put it back to stock and ebay all the parts.

i usually take the value of the car, with a little bit off, and take half the value of the aftermarket, add that number up, with thecar value that you came up with.
