Wheels w/ +33 or +42 offset
Hi i have a integra DB 4door 96 and i am going to buy some rims soon but i dont know if i should get the 33 or 42 offset.. the wheels are 16x7 . i am lowered about 1.8-2 inch drop and i have a camber kit... i want the 33 but i dont know if i should get it because i dont want to deal with the rub but if it will fit nice i would get it.. i would be getting 205 45 16 tires.. LMK if you can thanks alot..
Out of the two choices, I'd recommend going with the +42mm offset. The reason is because with a 16x7 +33mm, you're more than likely going to run into rubbing problems, therefore having to go into further modifications such as more camber, rolling fenders, etc. So +42mm would seem like the logical and most hassle-free choice IMO.
It's been proven that integras can in fact pull off low offsets, I would leave up to you to run either. You can run the ET33 if you add around 2 degrees of camber or so (specially in the rear) with the right drop or go safe with the ET42 and not worry about camber at all, and go as low as you can.
