will a MSD dist. cap for 94-97 accord work on h22?

Not to my knowledge b/c H22s have an external coil rather than an internal coil design the F22s have...

 

F22b1's have internal coil 94-97 EX and 90 EX do to.

 

Cap should work, coil not an issue with aftermarket ignition, or just reuse the stock coil. Plus the cab is the same as the civic cap, in fact, the box says civic on them. Same hitachi unit i belive, so should work.

 

Actually, I forgot that H22s have a TEC distributer and the F22B1s have a Hitachi distributer... different design, different rotor cap...

F22B2 and H22s share the same distributer cap.
