Default 1998 Honda Accord Mileage

What is the highest mileage any of you guys have on your hondas. I have 175K and its running good but the transmission is slipping. You think I should rebuild it or just sell the car and buy a new car. My brother rebuilt the tranny at 120K and it started to slip at 164K. You think I should just keep driving it until it breaks because the tranny has been slipping for a year but it's running good. The car used to slow down by itself on the highway but as soon as I flushed it, it runs without stalling. Also, I get about 17 to 20 mpg on my v6. Is that normal due to wear and tear and is there ways to improve my gas mileage because 18 to 20 mpg is low since it should be getting at least 24 mpg. Any help would much be appreciated. Thanks.

V6 did you say?

Dr Evil Transmission. If I have to do the trans in my car again, I will definately use them.

These transmissions suck ballz for sure

The engine in that car should easily last 300K plus. You stated that your trans is slipping so that is why your fuel economy sucks. It will go back up once you fix the transmission.

I have 97,500 miles on my car a 1998 accord coupe LX-V6
