If I just put aircraft paint remover on rota slips will there be a shiny/polished finish under the paint? Like on HX wheels...

 

 

i'll let u know this weekend. i plan on doing the same thing. got some black slips and bout to spray aircraft stripper all over them.

Yes they are polished under the paint. I've seen a few cars in the A/C forum with stripped rotas and they looked identical to silver Slips.

nah, its bare metal underneath the paint. but once you strip the paint, you can begin the polishing process (sanding, sanding, sanding)

Or does Rota make a polished slipstream?
