will ITR stock intake fit in b16 hatch
i was looking at doing the same thing. i'm in the process of swapping a b16 into my hatch. it should be done this week, but i don't believe that the itr intake will work. i believe that it is too short. the intake box would have to sit to the left (looking from the front of the car) of the battery and i don't believe that the tubing is long enough. the itr has the battery against the fire wall, so the intake didn't have to clear anything. you might be able to make a hybrid intake!
maybe use the tubing from your civic intake, and the box and filter from the itr. or if you mount the battery in the back of your hatch and make some custom brackets to hold the intake box in place. hope this helps!

i might relocate the battery to the back...would this allow the intake to fit? what is the best flowing stock honda intake?
yea, if you relocate the battery to the back, you could pretty much rig up anything to work since you'll have more space. if you want to use all of the itr stock intake parts, then you'll have to make some custom brackets to support it. the best stock intake by honda, that will work your civic (w/ modification), would probably be the itr. it has a cylindrical filter, instead of a flat filter. i'm not sure if or what other honda's use that type of filter. were you planning on using the resonator too?
