Okay, so we had a change of weather here about 4 days ago, and since then, the car has had very strange CEL on and off in different parts of the rpm range, and they come and go, as do some varying rev limits...sometimes won't go past 1600rpm, then won't go past 5000-5100rpm(VTEC point), then it finally decides to rev all the way(8800), the CEL comes on at 2800 or 3500 and goes away just as quick as it came on, and then at 7500 instead of 8200(redline) when it finally revs all the way.

Car's got a p73 w/ S200. Plus the S200 LED is blinking steadily instead of staying lit constantly.

Checked the sensors and switches, nothing loose that I can tell...pulled codes, there are none...reset the ECU(took neg cable off for a while), same flashing LED on the S200 before I started it, and the same CEL at 2800 or 3500(varies) right off the bat again.

I'm puzzled, here.

PS: My Legend got a momentary CEL and died at a stop light a couple of times the same day this started, but has been perfect since then.

count the blinks, it sounds like something distributor related possibly a random misfire

 

No missing...runs strong when it's not hitting a limiter, and there are no blinks to count, it's just a consistent blinking. THERE ARE NO CODES.
