I was on the freeway the other day and a hub cap comes flying across the freeway! The guy in front of me runs over it and the damn thing pops up in the air bounces off my windshield and then hits the roof of my car! All this freaking happend at 80mph. So now my windshield is scratched and the roof of my car has a 12inch scratch. I'm sooooo pissed. Just needed to vent

 

Ouch man, that sucks. Wait till you run over wood though, that's even funner. Cheers!

Running over wood ownz... leaves some nice scratches down the side of your car.

Only way to avoid crap like this is to not drive the car

I narrowly missed an entire F-350 size runaway wheel, and just yesterday a whole damn shlode of carpet in the middle of the damn lane.

Yeah I have the worse luck with crap on the freeway. The first month I had the car I hit a piece of tire tread that tore up my chin spoiler. That has been replaced, but it sucks to have to spend money on your car just to get it to its original condition especially when it's not your fault.

 

I just leave the **** all banged up and claim them as battle scares... Remember, it's only a car and unless its a trailer *****, its going to get beat up.

 

Depending on your insurance, crap in the road that you run over can be covered under your comprensive, NOT collision. Most peoples comp. deductable is alot lower, and stuff like that should not effect your insurance rates. Just a side note.

My horor story, was about a 4' chunk of 4x4 wood in the road. It was stradling two lanes. I saw it and started to move away from it, but the RV infront of me hit it, and shot it up over my car. It never touched me, but I didn't breath for about 2 miles... Oh, and I ran over a piece of metal Air Conditioning duct work that was blowing around. I moved right, it blew right, I moved left, it blew left. Jacked up my front bumper. Oh I was pissed... Ok, I feel better now... thanks!

 

That suxs! I've run one over before but never been hit by one.
A guy that my BF knows told me that he bought these thirty dollar hubcaps at wal-mart. HaHaHa. It's bad enough that he drives a neon, but then he just tops it off with the hubcaps. Such a moron.

 

ya.........a jeep ran over a big square piece of wood which shot it up into the air coming right at me at like 80mph spinning like a ninja star.........it smoked my chin spoiler and made a little mark
