1. 120mph is fast enough
2. Yes, an H22 ecu will let the engine rev higher, right up until the point you detonate it. You will also throw a **** ton of error codes because you won't have vtec nor the correct injectors/fuel maps.
3. As far as I know all three tranny are interchangeable onto an H22/H23 engine.
4. Unless you're (legally) racing, see #1.

h22 tranny has the closest gear ratios, which is best for accelerating

Who the hell you talking to man? Your fuqing delusional man wtf is wrong with you? NO ONE said ANYTHING about a putting vtec on their SI nor did anyone talk about getting a head and ECU BESIDES you. So whom are you addressing with this prior question? Mixing stock ECU's from different engines is also about the dumbest thing you can do. As said the fuel maps will be completely off, i'm sure you'll have idling problems, backfiring like crazy and an otherwise unresponsive engine that will surely blow within a short time. Some one else get in here and tare this kid a new one lol.

the tranny that would give you the highest top speed is the f-series. but then your going to accelerate like a geo prism or something of that nature. also you dont generaly put a transmission in an engine.
