I have never done one before but this looks pretty easy, I will be using a flux (I think it's called) weld. I'm new to welding and just trying to learn on my own.

You could piece together the same kit for cheaper, why not do that ?

From the pictures, what they forget to tell you is you will still have to cut the T fittings down, so its not a really a weld up kit.

You already have all the answers to the questions you asked. If you have another one fire away. Don't just bump for the sake of bumping please.

I guess that's just playing with the heat. Now is it the hotter I go the more wire I need to feed? I am trying to figure out how fast I need the wire to go.

Practice makes perfect.

Try practicing on other similar metal, until you find a good wire feed rate to get deep and strong metal penetration.

When you have good metal penetration, is that when the under side of the metal is getting hot and you can see it burning?

make sure you bevel the fitting where ever you anre joining them end to end. Make a nice V shaped groove to fill up with the weld, that way its easier to melt all the way through or close to it.
