My friend at work is selling his 96 honda civic lx 4 door, body and interior are good condition. Car is lowered with ajustables, not sure on brand or setup. The problem is car has unknown miles. Previous owner swithched out console with si console for rpm reading. Car has no leaks, but did a compression test today and got readings: 178, 155, 178, 178 not sure on specs for this engine. He is asking for $2,000. Dealership told him they carfaxed it, and it probly has 200,000 mi plus. They offered $1,500 on trade in. What else should I check on the car? Any tips? Im new to the whole tech deal? Thanks for any help? Deal or no deal?

 

I wouldn't, It sounds like the car has been ragged out.
